Therefore, we thought spend some time, crunch those numbers, and find of the best times to visit Disneyland Paris on a budget in 2023!

They are many seasonal events which can affect the price of a Disneyland Paris vacation, and after the massive success of the parks 30th celebrations and Disney confirming that they will continue to celebrate its 30th anniversary until 30th September 2023, guests are excited to return to the parks!

They are also more popular events and seasons, as well as outside factors, which will affect the price of your Disneyland Paris holiday, such as Halloween, Christmas, Pride and of course school holidays!

Cheapest time to visit Disneyland Paris during school holidays!

Visiting during a school holiday period will have one of the biggest impacts on not only the price of your Disneyland Paris vacation, but how crowded the park will be. This is because families throughout Europe are more likely to visit Disneyland Paris whilst children are off school.

In most cases English and French school holidays overlap and take place at the same time, however, they are two key dates where you could see lower prices and quieter parks.

If you look at the actual cost of the holiday, January is the cheapest time of year to go, but guests will usually see the park close at around 6/7pm.

February half term is one of the cheapest times to visit during the School Holidays. This holiday period usually also see’s lower crowd levels as many families within France and Europe tend to go skiing.

May school holidays is a great time to visit as this is not a school holiday in France. This can also be a more enjoyable time to visit the parks as Spring turns to Summer and France starts to get warmer! You’ll also get more time in the park, as the parks are open until much later in an evening, usually 10pm or 11pm! With longer time in the park, you will have more time to meet characters and ride attractions, and visiting during May school holidays will work out the cheapest by the hour!

Cheapest time to visit Disneyland Paris during Halloween

Halloween starts on the 1st October and runs until the 5th November at Disneyland Paris, giving guests a 5 week period to visit. Looking at the booking calendar the second week of the Halloween season will be the cheapest time to visit.

We would always advise avoiding the first week or last week of any season, as this can be very popular and see higher crowd levels.

Remember, as with any season at Disneyland Paris, the sooner you book the lower the price will be as Disney use availability within their pricing model.

Cheapest time to visit Disneyland Paris during Christmas

Christmas season starts on the 12th November and runs until the 8th January at Disneyland Paris, giving guests an 8 week period to visit. With special decorations, character meet and greets and an award winning parade, visiting during the Christmas season can be one of the most magical experiences for any Disney fan.

If you are looking to save money and experience Christmas at Disneyland Paris we would advise visiting the parks in November. Our favourite time of year to experience Christmas is towards the end of November, not only do we save money on hotels, but also see lower crowds levels!

January is one of the cheapest times to Visit Disneyland Paris, with most weekdays being the cheapest of the year. After looking at the booking calendar its clear to see that most dates throughout January are within the lowest price bracket.

February is a fantastic time to visit Disneyland Paris. Not only is it one of the cheapest times to visit Disneyland Paris, but it also means you can spend valentines day in the city of Love. February half term is also one of the cheapest school dates to visit Disneyland Paris.

Cheapest dates in March

Disneyland Paris state that if you want to visit when the number of Guests is fairly low, plan to stay mid-week (Tuesdays to Thursdays) from mid-January through mid-March. The benefit of visiting Disneyland Paris when the number of Guests is low is that waiting times are shorter and hotel rooms are cheaper! However, there may be fewer scheduled shows and events during these periods.

Visiting Disneyland Paris in Springtime, in particular April, is a popular period for families due to the Easter school holidays. This makes April a month unlike many others throughout the year as the dates you choose can mean you visit during busy or quiet times.

We are not going to set unrealistic expectations, August is one of the busiest months at Disneyland Paris, so expect to see high crowd levels during your stay. If you want to visit Disneyland Paris with lower crowds and still have warmer weather we would advice looking at either June or September. However, if you book early you can still grab some good deals.

September will be a major month for Disneyland Paris. At the end of September the award winning Disneyland Paris 30th celebrations will come to an end. On the 30th of September, we expect the park to be at capacity as guests will want experience to grand finale!
