If you want a quick summary, once it reopens we believe that the best Disneyland Paris Hotel will be the Disneyland Hotel. It’s the closest to the park (located directly above the entrance), has amazing amenities and actives, character meet and greets, great restaurants, and constantly gets the best reviews online. However, it’ll also be the most expensive once it opens after its Royal Transformation.
On a personal level, our favourite hotels are the Sequoia Lodge and Hotel Cheyenne.
The Hotel Cheyenne, is one of the best themed hotels we have visited, it even has pony riding during the Spring/Summer months. Its a fantastic ‘budget’ option, and is a great choice for families due to its theming, play areas and character meets!
Located within the woods the Sequoia Lodge hotel has a calming atmosphere, and nothing beats sitting in the bar area by an open fire after a busy day in the park. It’s also another fantastic choice for families, with play areas, character meets, and it’s one of the cheapest hotels at Disneyland Paris which has a swimming pool!

Disneyland Hotel: Currently Closed
The Disneyland Hotel is currently closed for a “royal transformation” and is planned to reopen in 2024. To ensure the accuracy of this guide, we have removed this section until we get more details on the re-imagineering of the hotel.
The Disneyland Hotel will be transformed into a fairy tale kingdom fit for our beloved Disney Princesses and Princes. From classics like Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, to more recent hits like Frozen and Tangled. Expect refined, storytelling décor and magical touches that will surprise and delight the whole family, as only Disneyland Paris can do.

Davy Crockett Ranch: Best Budget Hotel (Off-Site)

- NO shuttle available – ideal for people who drive to Disneyland Paris

This will be the cheapest hotel option at Disneyland Paris 99% of the time! Located just a 15-minute drive from the Disney Parks, the friendly atmosphere of Disney Davy Crockett Ranch and its cabins area perfect place to relax after a day in the park.
Each forest bungalow comes complete with a kitchen, room for up to 6 people and a reserved parking space. Outside, you’ll have a private deck with picnic table and BBQ area. It’s the perfect setting to share magical moments together!
The activities make it great for families, whilst the relaxing (and romantic) cabins can be ideal for couples too! However, there is not a free shuttle to the park, therefore you will need a car to drive to and from the parks. Therefore, we believe this is the best hotel for guests who drive to Disneyland Paris.
The partnership with Avis, does mean that car rentals will be coming to Disneyland Paris very soon. This could open this hotel to a much wider audience!

There’s 7 Disney hotels at Disneyland Paris and unlike other Disney parks around the world, such as Walt Disney World, most of the hotels are within a 5-20 minute walking distance to the park depending on your walking pace.

We understand that the Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel are the closest hotels to the theme park entrances, but how do they compare on price?
For this comparison we compared a 3 night (4 day stay) at each hotel based on 2 Adults and 1 Child. Each package included park tickets for all 4 days, with no additional extras (such as meal plans or room upgrades)

So, what can we learn from these hotel prices?
- Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch is the cheapest hotel at Disneyland Paris. However, you need to remember that this hotel is off-site and doesn’t have any free shuttle service to the parks!
- Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe is the cheapest on-site Disneyland Paris hotel.
- Hotel New York – Art of Marvel is the most expensive Disneyland Paris hotel.
The 3-6th September Hotel & Ticket package also highlights the use of availability within the pricing of hotel rooms at Disneyland Paris. On this date, it would be cheaper to stay in the Sequoia Lodge hotel, rather than Hotel Cheyenne. Compare this to the other two dates and would cost you at least £200 more to stay at the Sequoia!

Which is the easiest Disneyland Paris hotel to get to?
All the hotels at Disneyland Paris are really easy to get to, no matter how you are travelling to Disneyland Paris. This is due to the transport network of free shuttles, train station and bus station located on the doorstep of Disneyland Paris and two airports (Charles-de-Gaulle and Orly) located nearby.
The most common airport guests will arrive at is Charles-de-Gaulle, and from here you can get the Magical Shuttle, taxi, or train to Disneyland Paris.
The Magical Shuttle provides a transfer direct from Charles-de-Gaulle airport and Orly airport to each Disney hotel (as well as some partner hotels). You can even add this transfer to your booking when buying direct with Disneyland Paris! Door to door service! The transfer usually costs €24 per adult and €11 per child each way.
You can also get a train direct from Charles-de-Gaulle airport to the Marne la Vallée Chessy train station, which is right outside the entrance of the parks! The last time we used this transfer method, the tickets were priced at around €20 per adult, however, this can change depending on the date and at peak times!
Marne la Vallée Chessy train station is also the train station you would arrive at if you took the train from London to Disneyland Paris. Please be aware the direct service is ending soon, and you’ll need to make a change in Paris.
When you arrive at Marne la Vallée Chessy train station, you can walk to or choose to get one of the free shuttles to your hotel from the bus station, located next to the train terminal. Please be aware that the Davy Crockett Ranch does not have a free shuttle.
You can also choose a private transfer or Taxi option direct from the airport. This is usually priced around €75-100 depending on the size of vehicle you and your family need. This will of course take you direct to your hotel, and in some cases will be cheaper than the Magical Shuttle or Train.

The “best” hotel will depend on many factors, which will be different for each person and family, for example price may be more important to some people, whilst others may want to focus on holiday activities and ways to relax within the hotel.
If we wanted that most magical experience and money was no object, and if it was open we would always choose the Disneyland Hotel every time! It’s located directly above the entrance to the parks, has amazing restaurants, constantly gets fantastic reviews.
The next closest hotel to the parks is Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel. This is one of the best hotels at Disneyland Paris, and has some of the most up-to date rooms and facilities, along with the best restaurants and bars within any hotel! However, this does come with a higher price tag.
Hotel Cheyenne would be the best hotel at Disneyland Paris for most families. The theming, location, activities, price and reviews all make this a great choice.
For guests looking for a budget to mid priced hotel with a pool, you may want to consider the Sequoia Lodge or Newport Bay Club. These hotels are usually a few hundred pounds cheaper than Hotel New York, and are within a a short walking distance to the parks and are a great balance of price and functionality!
For overall value, you would have to pick either Santa Fe or Davy Crockett Ranch. They’re always the cheapest hotels at Disneyland Paris, but the one you choose would highly depend on how you’re travelling to Disneyland Paris.
If you are driving to the parks Davy Crockett is the one for you! It has one of the best pools at Disneyland Paris and the range of hotel and in-room facilities is far greater than other Disney hotels. You’ll also get larger rooms and living spaces, but the downside is you’ll need to drive to the park each day.
If you’re not driving to Disneyland Paris, but still want that budget friendly option, then choose Santa Fe.
