Two of our most favourite times to visit Disneyland Paris is during the Halloween or Christmas Season. These two seasons offer even more magic to guests and from 1 October to 5 November 2023, a wickedly-fun Halloween atmosphere will descend upon Disneyland Paris once again!
If you want to visit Disneyland Paris during the Halloween season and see low crowd levels, plan to stay mid-week (Tuesdays to Thursdays) and towards the start of the month (if possible). The benefit of visiting Disneyland Paris when the number of Guests is low is that waiting times are shorter and hotel rooms are cheaper!

One of the most common questions we are asked is Disneyland Paris cold at Halloween? As Autumn is is full swing, the weather in Disneyland Paris throughout October tends to be a mild to cold with chances of rainfall. You can still experience some fantastic sunshine days, but most days you will feel the mild weather with an average temperature of 12-16°C (54-61°F).
On our most recent trip we experienced an October heat wave, however, the weather can be unpredictable so we always advise checking the 14 and 7 day forecast before you visit to make sure you pack suitable clothing.
If you visit during October, its more than likely you will experience at least one rainy day. If any unexpected weather occurs, Disneyland Paris is located only a 5 minute UBER ride away from the Val d’Europe Shopping Centre, which allows you to quickly buy any essentials or additional clothing.

One of our biggest tips for guests staying at Disneyland Paris during the month of October is to stay on-site, if you budget allows it. When creating this guide, we found that many Disney hotels were actually cheaper than partner hotels. The DLP Hotels are located very close to the parks with each only a short 5-10 minute walk or bus ride to and from the park, which makes it far easier to change clothes, add extra layers or take a break if needed!
