The firework show are performed every night, and we are often asked how to get the best firework view and where is the best place to watch the fireworks at Disneyland Paris? This guide is going to give you our top tips to make sure you don’t miss any of the shows details!
What fireworks shows are performed at Disneyland Paris?
Currently guests can watch 2 fireworks shows at Disneyland Paris, Disney Illuminations (Disneyland Park) and Avengers: Power the Night within the Walt Disney Studios.
- Disney D-Light is the 30th anniversary Drone show. This is performed each night before the main castle show within Disneyland Park.
- The Disney Illuminations spectacular will run until 11 April 2023, and from the 12 April, we will see the return of the award-winning Disney Dreams night-time show!
- Avengers: Power the Night will light up the sky every night at Walt Disney Studios Park, and takes the use of drones at Disneyland Paris to the next level, with multiple colours, motions, designs, patterns and more! The show is planned to run until May 8th, 2023.
All shows are FREE to watch for guests with a valid Disneyland park ticket.
The best place to watch Fireworks at Disneyland Park
Within Disneyland Park, guests can watch the wonders of Disney D-Light, Illuminations or Disney Dreams! so how do you get the best view to watch these shows?
Disneyland Paris know the best place to watch the fireworks and ensures that guests paying for the VIP Tours are stood here to watch the fireworks at Disneyland Paris! The VIP Viewing area is located directly in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Now we know where Disney believe the best place is, how do we get this view without paying for a VIP Tour.
Look for ropes
Disney Cast Members will rope off specific areas a few hours before the firework show begins. Once these are placed you can get your spot early or start to plan where you want to stand. If you are willing to wait, standing by one of these ropes will give you best view of the fireworks.
Stand by Castle Stages
We know that many parents will place their children on their shoulders, and for guests not wanting to wait by a rope, we always recommend standing behind a castle stage in the central hub. As nobody can stand on these stages, it minimise the chances of getting an obstructed view.
Stand slightly to the right
As Disneyland Paris introduced the Disney D-Light preshow, guests have enjoyed the magic of the Disney Drones. However, due to the location of the drones, guests stood to the left hand may have an obstructed view of the drones.
Have a Disneyland Paris Infinity Annual Pass
Infinity Annual Passholders at Disneyland Paris get special privileges not available to any other pass holder. One of these is access to a dedicated viewing area for the fireworks. This is located directly behind the VIP viewing area. As annual pass holders we have had the privilege of being in this location many times, often arriving less than 30 mins before the show starts and still getting a front row view.

The best place to watch Fireworks at Walt Disney Studios
The Walt Disney Studios is the home to special events and firework shows such as Magic over Disney and the brand ne Marvel drone show Avengers: Power the Night.
- Fireworks and Projections usually take place over Tower of Terror
- Avengers Power the Night runs until May 8th, 2023.
- Magic over Disney confirmed dates are 6th and 8th Nov, 2023, and the 17th, 22nd and 24th Jan, 2024.
Similar to Disneyland Park, Disney always ensure that guests paying for the VIP Tours are stood in the best place to watch the fireworks at Disneyland Paris! The VIP Viewing area for these shows are located at the back of Production Courtyard, in front of Studio 2. Now we know where Disneyland Paris believe the best place discuss the tips we have learned to get the best view possible.
- Unlike other firework shows at Disneyland Paris, you will get a better view if you stand to the back of Production Courtyard.
- An hour before the start of the show, Cast Members will start to keep a pathway clear between the exit and Studio D. If possible try to stand with this open pathway infront of you. This will provide some space between you and the guests in front and provide the best view of the show.
