Disneyland Paris has begun its large scale renovations in preparation for the Parks 30th anniversary next year. They’ve recently shared some images showing the start of the Sleeping Beauty Castle refurbishment and the Main Street USA Gazebo renovation.
Since our previous post about the Disney Castle refurbishment, the images show the massive scaffolding being built around the castle. Taking advantage of the parks being currently closed, this means they’ll have the complete castle covered with the scrim before the new opening date of April.
Sleeping Beauty Castle Refurbishment
Outsidears were able to share some exclusive images of the scaffolding surrounding Sleeping Beauty Castle. These images and video are usually reserved for cast members and employees on their internal social network.
Main Street USA Gazebo Refurbishment
Sleeping Beauty Castle is not the only renovation underway within the Disneyland Paris, work on the Main Street USA Gazebo has also begun. The new picture shows parts of the Gazebo have been completely stripped back to the steel supports. In addition to this, a large section of the roof has also been removed.
