Today was the soft opening for “Dream… and Shine Brighter” the new Disneyland Paris 30th anniversary parade. As well as welcoming Miguel to Disneyland Paris, the new looks for Woody and Jessie debuted and later the same day, Buzz Lightyear showed off his new look as part of the “Stars on Parade”
New Look for Woody, Jessie and Buzz Lightyear!
The original costumes were introduced in the 1990’s and updated versions have been created to ensure the park characters closely resemble the characters from the iconic film.
Buzz Lightyear has slimmed down and features a slimmer torso and a more rounded face and appears how he’s portrayed in the Toy Story film franchise and the upcoming Lightyear film. We did notice a few slight changes on his outfit such as his name sticker changing from “B. Lightyear” to just “Lightyear”.
Jessie and Woody have had their face shapes updated and slight changes to their outfits to make them appear more like the film versions.
Nice change for the Toy Story characters!
