What are Magic Bands?
Magic Bands, also known as Disney Bands, are your link between you and your My Disney Experience account. These colourful watch style bands which holds all your vacation details and your choices made on the My Disney Experience mobile app.
Essentially, MagicBands can
- Unlock the door of your Disney Resort room
- Enter Disney parks (with valid admission)
- Check in at Lightning Lane and Genie+ entrances
- Connect Disney PhotoPass images to your account
Does Disneyland Paris Have Magic Bands?
The simple answer to this is no, Disneyland Paris doesn’t have Magic Bands, and there’s currently no news that these bands will be coming to Disneyland Paris.
In terms of technology, Disneyland Paris is way behind the American theme parks. The Disneyland Paris app is very simple compared to the My Disney Experience App, there is no Genie+, and it’s only recently that guests have been able to ‘mobile order’ via the DLP App.
With the release of the all Digital Annual Pass, this could be the start of a revolution at Disneyland Paris and the introduction of more technology.
