NEW France & Disneyland Paris Travel Requirements

NEW France & Disneyland Paris Travel Requirements

Following the announcement that France would be restricting travel from the UK from 20 December, due to the Covid Pandemic, they have now introduced new entry requirements. The new France and Disneyland Paris Travel Requirements are :

  1. All travellers from the UK will need to have and present a negative COVID-19 test.
  2. This test must be completed less than 72 hours before departure (3 days)
  3. The only exception is that children aged 10 or under will not be required to present a negative COVID-19 test.
  4. As the opening of Disneyland Paris is in February, only a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test will be accepted for passengers.

The UK government has requested that you do not use the COVID NHS testing service for travel purposes only. You should only use this service when you have symptoms of COVID-19. You are advised to arrange a private test. Click here to view a list of UK approved private test centers.

Please remember, when returning from France you are still required to self isolate for seven days. After this time you should take another PCR test. You do not have to continue self isolation when a negative result occurs.

Common Questions

With the release of this updated information we have had a lot of questions from guests about the new Disneyland Paris Travel Requirements, the Parks re-opening and when we will be able to visit.

On the 4th January, Borris Johnson said: “I hope we can steadily move out of lockdown, reopening schools after the February half-term and starting”. With February half term in the UK being Monday 15 February to Friday 19 February, this means UK guest would not be able to travel and visit the Park for the official re-opening in February.

Due to the new strains and the increase in the spread of COVID-19 we do not have definitive answers to this. We do not have any confirmation when the ‘UK lockdown’ will end or if Disneyland Paris will actually open in February.

update 18th Jan 2021

As we first assumed, it has now been confirmed that the Parks will not open in February. Click here to read more on the new opening date for Disneyland Paris .
