DISNEYLAND HOTEL STARTS ITS ROYAL TRANSFORMATION

Disneyland Paris have revealed the ambitious reimagining of Disneyland Hotel and have shared new details about the royal transformation! When the hotels reopens, the Disneyland Hotel will incorporate a royal theme and become the true kingdom of many Disney Princesses and Princes.

Disneyland Paris Hotel Royal Transformation

The preparation for the transformation of the Disneyland Hotel begun several months ago, after the official announcement in April. This initial phase ensured the hotel was ready for the imagineers and was emptied of its furniture, with many pieces made available to Cast Members and over 1,500 furniture pieces being donated to organisations supporting local communities.

The Disneyland Hotel will become the true kingdom of many Disney Princesses and Princes as it takes on a royal theme with beautifully decorated rooms and suites inspired by animated classics such as Beauty and the BeastCinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Tangled and Frozen.

All of the hotel areas will be upgraded and redesigned to offer enhanced accommodations with upgraded technologies. This will allow guests to experience an even more immersive experience whilst benefiting from online check-in to in-room connectivity.

As part of Phase 2, the hotel will see expansions to the boutique and fitness areas, which includes extending the pool area, spa and gym. The “Princess for a Day experience” will also be reimagined and return with a royal experience. The hotel culinary options are also being improved and extended to create larger dining areas as well as a new lounge to provide even more options for guests.

One of the best parts of this update is that the hotel’s exterior will retain its charming Victorian style and continue to blend harmoniously into the world of Disneyland Paris’ Main Street, U.S.A. The facades, roofs and woodwork are to be completely refurbished, as well as the hotel’s parking area and a new entry sequence.

  • Am I the only one who finds these photos very upsetting? ? I’m so sad the hotel is loosing its beautiful theme.

    • We also loved the theming of the Disneyland Hotel, however, we have plenty of trust that the Disney Imagineers will be making this something special and will still have aspects of its history incorporated into the designs.
