Disney Imagineers have revealed that new scenes and adventures will be coming to Star Tours during the Star Wars Celebration in London. These new scenes and adventures will be coming to the Star Tours attraction in 2024 at Disneyland, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disneyland Paris!
What new scenes will be coming to Star Tours?
No further details or specifics have been shared, however, it has been suggested that the new destinations are yet to be seen within the Star Wars universe, and fans will first see these on screen within future Disney Star Wars series before being introduced to the attractions.
With so many Star Wars series available and coming to Disney+, Imagineers can choose from a number of adventures such as the Mandalorian, Boba Fett, Ahsoka, Skeleton Crew, Acolyte, Andor, the Bad Batch, and many more!
During the panel, when speaking on updates previously made the the attraction Scott Trowbridge said: “And uhhh…so are we done?” And Matt Martin says: “You know what, I think we’re gonna do some more.”
Scott then said: “One of the great things about this format is star wars storytelling is continuing to grow and expand, and Star Tours is one of those great experiences that can grow and expand along with the storytelling as we go to new places and meet new characters and have new adventures.”
When was the last time new scenes were introduced
The last time Disney introduced new destinations within the Star Tours attraction were to coincide with the release of “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” back in 2019.
