DISNEYLAND PARIS NEW DIGITAL SERVICES, PREMIER ACCESS, FOOD HUB, DIGITAL FEATURES AT RESORT HOTELS

The new update to the Disneyland Paris App is designed to help guests organise and maximise their time within the parks with a host of digital enhancements, including new digital features at resort hotels, Disney Premier Access service (replacing FastPass), and a brand new Food Hub. However, one major update appears to be missing from the previous announcement, there is still not a mobile order system at Disneyland Paris.

We are always looking for ways to improve the guest experience. The return of Standby Pass, the introduction of Disney Premier Access and each new digital enhancement across our parks and hotels is part of our commitment to provide innovative products and services that take into consideration ongoing feedback and not only meet but exceed the expectations of our guests.  Guests expect seamless experiences more and more, and with technology’s evolution, we have an opportunity – and a responsibility – to match their expectations.”

New Digital Services at Resort Hotels

Disneyland Paris is introducing a new Online Check-In feature which will allow guests to use their smart phone to check in and will receive a text message when their room is ready! This is ideal for people who arrive early to the parks and dont want to spend time queuing in reception. simply drops your bags at the hotel and head into the park, or you can take your bags to the park and leave them with luggage services.

They will be even more features and services available for guests staying at Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, such as the ability to book character meets and photo opportunities within the Super Hero Station

The Upgraded Food Hub

With the last few Disneyland Paris App updates, we have seen the Food section constantly improve and change, and recently we were able to see availability and book a table direct from the App. Soon guests will be able to tailor this section even further and be able to search and book Disney operated restaurants based on your meal plan and type of food and other useful criteria.

Advanced Registration System is here to stay!

The parks online registration system which has been used to help limit capacity during COVID-19 and deliver the Disney signature guest experience will be here to stay indefinitely. Therefore, for annual pass holders and guests with undated tickets, you will need to book entry into the park prior to your arrival. Guests who have a hotel and ticket package or guests with dated tickets will not need to use the advanced registration system.

Changes to the Disneyland Paris FastPass System

The FREE FastPass ticket system found by attractions within the park will be removed and will be replaced with Disney Premier Access. The new Disney Premier Access is a paid for FastPass, and will be priced between €8.00 to €15.00 per person, per attraction based on low season / high season periods. The Standby Pass will also be returning but only “subject to availability and dependent on day-to-day needs in the parks”.

This is a major change to the FastPass System we know and love, and we have a more depth look at the Disneyland Paris FastPass Changes here.
