Disneyland Paris will be the first Disney Park in the world to use Drone technology as part of the 30th Anniversary pre-show to Disney Illuminations. This new pre-show will be called “Disney D-Light” and will be created from two hundred drones to create the 30th anniversary logo in the sky.

The show has been created over several months and with the drones secretly tested in Bordeaux. The show will also incorporate images projected on the castle, fountains, lights and lasers. The sequence will also have a brand new soundtrack to create an “immersive moment full of emotions guided by music”.
Disneyland Paris also released a new video detailing the creation of this new sequence, which you can watch below:
The preshow includes some brand new music “Un monde qui s’illumine” which was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London.
Disneyland Paris has stated “It will be the first time a Disney Park uses the drone technology as part of a daily outdoor show above its Castle.”, but it is worth noting that a drone show previously appeared at Disney Springs in 2016.
