Disneyland Paris Cancels New Year Eve party, but extends park hours!

Breaking News: Disneyland Paris have cancelled their New Years Eve party, but have extended the usual park hours. Due to the changing situation and as Omicron infections increase in France, more restrictions have been put into place in which Disneyland Paris must follow.

Instead of the New Year Eve party the park will be open until 1am & Walt Disney Studios til 12:30, the extended hours will be included in regular day admission tickets, with all party ticket holders being refunded.

Guests who still want to visit the park on the 31st December will see exclusive evening entertainment, have the opportunity to meet rare Disney Characters as well as watch a unique Disney Parade.

The Disneyland Paris website states the following in regards to tickets and refunds:

Disney New Year’s Eve Party
Given the current situation and the health measures taken for 31 December throughout France, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Disney New Year’s Eve Party. ​

Already have a Hotel + Ticket package or a room only booking that includes the night of 31 December 2021 and a Disney New Year’s Eve Party ticket ?​
If you decide to keep your booking, your Disney New Year’s Eve Party ticket will be cancelled and refunded.​

If you wish to cancel your entire booking, you can change or cancel your booking without fees and receive a full refund up to 7 days before your arrival, excluding insurance and/or transport fees, if applicable.

Have a Disney New Year’s Eve Party ticket only?​
Tickets for the Disney New Year’s Eve Party purchased on the Disneyland Paris website or by telephone will be cancelled and you will receive a full refund.​

Booked a New Year’s Eve Dinner including a Disney New Year’s Eve Party Ticket?​
You can keep your Festive Dinner booking with us and access the Disney Parks during the evening. You will be offered gift cards as a compensation for the Disney New Year’s Eve Party being cancelled (€100 per adult and €50 per child)​

Will Disneyland Paris close?

At the moment, theres many rumours that Disneyland Paris will close in the coming days and this announcement will be the first of many. At the moment these are just rumours and nothing has been confirmed by Disney, they’re currently continuing operations and updating schedules to ensure the best guest experience during these uncertain times.

If you want to celebrate New Years at Disneyland Paris and already have a valid ticket for the day of December 31, we are happy to welcome you for an exceptionally extended day: Walt Disney Studios Park will be open until 12:30 a.m. and Disneyland Park until 1 a.m. (access to 1 or 2 Disney Parks depending on the conditions of your ticket). Park Tickets and Hotel stays + Park Tickets are still on sale for the New Year!

In addition to our Christmas experience and our attractions, you can enjoy exclusive evening entertainment at Disneyland Park, meet Disney Characters or even attend a unique Parade.
