The UK and France border may soon be opening! On January 6th, France updated their ‘compelling reasons to travel’ to include work-related reasons, and its anticipated that the border restrictions will be removed within the next few days. The Independent newspaper has reported that these changes are believed to be imminent, with fully vaccinated travellers once again being admitted to France.
This is emphasised further with Skiline.co.uk sending out a marketing emails saying: “We are expecting the French government to make an announcement this Wednesday to confirm that British vaccinated skiers can enter France from this Saturday 15 January.”
SkiWeekends, is also telling prospective customers: “Based on reliable government sources we are optimistic that the borders will be opened and that the 48-hour quarantine on arrival will be removed.”
