The French capital is shutting down and getting ready for a new one month lockdown. Unlike previous curfews in France, Paris and 15 other regions will be fully closed from midnight tomorrow (Friday March 19th). The new lockdown is a result of France recording over 35,000 new COVID cases in the past 24 hours, and over 1,200 Parisians now in intensive care. This is more than the peak of the virus back in November.
It was only a few days ago Disneyland Paris confirmed the extended closure, with no new opening date announced. We assume due to the current situation, this is why Disneyland Paris has not yet announced a new opening date.
